What does an anemometer do? It measures wind speed. An anemometer wind makes the cups of anemometer spin around. Cups spin fast as wind goes faster.

Who made the anemometer? In 1846 Dr. John Thomas Romney Robinson made the anemometer. It was made so that people can tell wind speed.
