Wiki 5A Standards Project
This represents the following standards we will hold and apply to all articles written about animals. These were created and adopted by the class of 2007/2008 March 27, 2008.

All articles written about animals should:

  • contain facts, not opinions
  • contain the name of the animal
  • contain information about the food the animal eats
  • contain information about the animal's life expectancy
  • contain information about the animal's habitat
  • contain information about the animal's life cycles (if applicable)
  • contain information about the animal's enemies (predators)
  • contain information about its birth (hatching from egg, etc)
  • contain information about the type of animal it is (mammal, etc)
  • specify whether or not it hibernates
  • specify whether or not it is endangered
  • name its species
  • contain a picture

If it is found that an article submitted to Wiki 5A does not contain the above information, we will tag the page. This will place a large sign on the page that indicates the article does not meet the standards created by the 2007 fifth grade class. At that time, any member of Wiki 5A may edit the page to include the needed information. We will not delete the article.

Should you come across an article that does not meet the basic requirements found above, edit the article, copy and then paste the following into that article:

{{NotStandard}}
