Bob Feller is a famous baseball player. He got put in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. He was a pitcher on the Major League Baseball (MLB). He got the gold glove 3 times. He was on the Dodgers for one year. Then he went to the Cubs. Then he went to the Cleveland Indians for 18 years. Then he went to the army for 3 years.

Bob Feller was born Robert William Andrew Feller. He was born on November 3rd. Bob Feller was born in a small town of Ven Meter, Iowa. His mom and dad were farmers. He led an exciting life. He would played baseball in his backyard. When he was about 15 he was a no hitter, that is when nobody hit off of you. At the age of 18, he went to try out for the MLB in his hometown Iowa. Feller went to the Navy in December 8 of 1941. Bob did work to make him physically fit in WW2. He was in the gun crew. He got in the MLB the first time he tried. His fastball was 98 miles per hour on the Dodger field. He played for the MLB for 14 years. He got 8 battle stars. His friend got in the hall of fame. The opening day was a no hitter against the White Sox. Dec. 8, He won 244 games in his lifetime in the MLB. When he was not playing, he was at his farm in Iowa riding horses.

Bob said that Barry Bonds should not go to the Baseball Hall of Fame because of Bonds using steroids. Bob got married in 1943 to Virgina Wither. They had three sons Steve, Martin, and Bruce. He got married again with Anne Feller.
