Bobcats are mostly found in North America. Bobcats like to live in shrubs and trees and the areas of swamplands, woodlands, and rocky prairies. The female bobcat has up to two to four kittens. Bobcats carry their kittens by the neck. Bobcats will do anything to protect their kittens. A bobcat is a median size of many other large cats. They use their claws and teeth to kill their prey. Bobcats eat a big variety of animals like birds, fish, snakes, and they will hunt deer. These cats hunt during the day and night. They have a reddish colored fur with black spots all over it. A bobcat has a very short tail unlike many of the bobcat relatives. One of it's relatives is the Canadian lynx.
