Caesar Rodney is a famous politician and an American Lawyer in Dover, Delaware. He was a Continental Congress man. He was also the President of Delaware during the American Revolution.
Caesar Rodney was born on October 7, 1728. He was born on his father’s farm on St. Jones Neck, in Dover Hundred Kent county Delaware. He is the son of Caesar and Mary Crawford, Rodney and the grandson of William Rodney. Caesar Rodney had brothers and sisters. He was educated at home but later attended Latin School in Philadelphia.
Caesar Rodney was a war hero of independence. In 1755 Caesar Rodney was elected for Sheriff of Kent County, Delaware. He was sheriff and served for the maximum of three years. During the time of the French and Indian War, he served as captain. Caesar Rodney had signed the Declaration of Independence. He was an officer during the French and Indian War and The American Revolution.
Caesar Rodney had asthma and a serious cancer on his face that was called skin cancer. Caesar Rodney was a Congressman from Delaware and also the President of Delaware during The American Revolution. Caesar Rodney was a very famous politician and an American lawyer in Dover, Delaware. He was the signer of the Declaration of Independence. He was known for the being oddest looking man in the world. When he had his cancer he had to wear a scarf to conceal it yet he continued to do his work. Caesar Rodney died on June 9, 1784.
