This is a Coati
The coati lives in Arizona, New Mexico, Central America, the Amazon, Argentina, and Uruguay. They are mostly found in woodlands, forests, deserts, and grasslands. In the breeding season the male is allowed into a group (called a band) and mates with all the females. There is as much as 20 coatis in a group. The female coati makes a nest in a tree somewhere. After the gestation (ten to eleven weeks) the mothers have two to seven young. A couple months later the mother and her young return to the group where it all started. After two years they males are on their own. Their diet is insects, fruit, mice, frogs, and their favorite is lizard. They are very active during the day. All four kinds of the coati are related to the raccoon. Coatis are not endangered. Most of the day they make lots of noise.
