He got his first guiter when he was elevan years old. His first break throught was Thats All Right. He is the "King of Rock and Roll","Elvis", and "The King".
Elvis Presley was famous for his classic songs and singing voice. He was also known as: The King of Rock and Roll.
Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. In his childhood, his dad had to go to jail because he forged a check. Elvis also had a great relationship with his mother. When he was little his neighbors say that he was a very nice and pilot boy. When Elvis was in seventh grade, he took guitar lessons. In fall of 1946, he and his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis and his family also went to church.
Elvis had a few part- time jobs, and he was inducted to the Army. Elvis also graduated from L.C. Humes High School. He worked at Crown Electric Company. Elvis gave most of the money he earned to his parents and was always looking for people to play music with. After Elvis came back from Military service, he was still extremely popular.
Elvis had a twin brother who died at birth. Elvis only lived to be 42 years old because of a drug overdose. But, today, Elvis is still popular with hundreds of fans. He racked up more than 100 Top Forty hits as well as more than 40 Gold Records. He is also remembered for influencing a generation of rock musicians like Bob Dylan. Also they there have been countless Elvis sightings! Plus, he’s been in a lot of movies. Also there have been over 400 books about him! In 1956, he made an album called: The Million Dollar Quarter, featuring Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis! They found him dead in a bathroom in Graceland.
A lot of people still have his music and he still has lots of fans! But, some people have movies of him. And he is still loved by a lot of people and he’s still loved by America.
He lived in Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee. His house has always been a museum, fans gather there for Elvis week in August. He died in August 16, 1977, in Mimphis,Tennessee
