Franklin Delano Roosevelt served four, four year terms as president. Franklin was the Governor of New York. Franklin was our 32nd president. He served as our president from January 30, 1933, to April 12, 1945. Franklin was a Democrat. He was elected as President of the United States on November 8, 1932, and won by a landslide of 42 states of 48 sates. He was running against Herbert Hoover. On August of 1921, Franklin got the polio disease, this disease attacks the nervous system.Franklin was born on January 30, 1882. He was born to James and Sara Roosevelt. Franklin was born to a wealth family because Franklin was from a wealth family he went many places and saw many people. Franklin almost died when he was born, because he turned blue. When he was born he weighed 10 lbs. Franklin loved horses. Franklin awakens at 7:00 a.m. He had breakfast at 8:00, the morning lessons with a private governess. Next he has has lunch and more school till 4:00.From 4:00 to 6:00 he can play supervised. Supper is at 6:00 and goes to bed at 8:00. This is like this everyday. He was an only child. Except for his half-brother James who was 28 years old, because his father's first wife died. Franklin had a few wealthy friends but had only one best friend who died of diphtheria. When Franklin was fourteen years of age he went to a boarding school, at Gronton School in Gronton, Massachusetts. When Franklin went to boarding school he had a hard time adjusting. Franklin was five feet tall and three inches. He weighed almost onexloilx hundred pounds when he entered the school of Gronton. Franklin was good at tennis and golf. Franklin D. Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945.
