This is a Green and Black Poison Dart Frog
Dendrobates auratus, just another fancy word for the Green and Black Poison Dart Frog. Member of the order, Anura, another fancy word for “tail-less”. It is one of the most variable of all Poison Dart Frogs next to Dendrobates Tinctorius. Dendrobates tinctorius, Once again another fancy word. It means Dyeing Dart Frog, you may think it is “dying” but it’s Dyeing for meaning of, dyeing of colors because they are colorful. They are another species of Poison Dart Frog.
They are brightly colored green with black Strips or spots, they have scrawny limbs and a round muzzle. The toe and fingertips end with small gum disks. Poison glands are located all the way through the bodies outside.
