Hank Aaron is a famous baseball player. He even made it to the Hall of Fame for his records in baseball.

Hank Aaron was born in Mobile, Alabama, on February 5, 1934, in a sectioned off town referred to by “Down by the Bay.” But he spent most off his time in Toulminville.

He went to Central High School but transferred to Joseph Institute, a private high school for boys. He played baseball. He played third base and outfield. He also excelled in football. He led both teams, football and baseball to the Negro High School Championship both years.

When he started to play baseball, he played in the Negro League for the Indianapolis Clowns, a minor league team, and he led them to a world series win. Then one year later, he was brought up to the majors to play for the Atlanta Braves. His Major League debut was on April 13, 1954.

Hank Aaron is still alive and is the senior vice president of the Braves.
