Hank Williams is a famous Country singer. His name when he was born was Hiram King Williams. He is also known Hank Williams.Hank Williams parents were Alonzo Huble Williams, known as Lon, a train conductor for a regional lumber company and World War I veteran, and Jessie Lilly Belle Williams, known as Lillie. He had an older sister named Irene. Hank Williams was a Country music singer. He was born on September 17, 1923, in Georgiana, Alabama, and died on January 1, 1953, in Oak Hill, West Virginia. He was 29 when he died. He has a son Hank Williams Jr. and a daughter Jett Williams. Hank Williams Jr., Jett Williams, and his grandchildren Hank Williams III and Holly Williams are singers now. Hank Williams was one of the best songwriters ever to appear in the Country genre, and his special creative ability was enhanced by a charismatic, if Country, stage presence. Bill C. Malone calls Hank Williams the most dramatic symbol of the Country music's postwar was a surge.
