Iapetus is one of Saturn's moons. Iapetus's radius is 720 km. Iapetus is located between Mimas and Dione. Iapetus is another icy satellite. One half of Iapetus is covered in ice, the other half is dark and featureless. Many think there is life on Iapetus, there might be, there might not be, we do not know. On the dark side of Iapetus it appears to be covered with reddish material of a unknown origin. In Greek mythology Iapetus was a Titan, the son of Uranus, the father of Prometheus and Atlas and an ancestor of the human race.
