Jim Morrison is a singer. His birth name is James Douglas Morrison. He is known as the lizard king. These are some songs that he wrote “Light My Fire”, “People Are Strange”, “Hello I Love You”, “Touch Me”, and “La, Women”.

The name of his band was The Doors. Jim was the son of Admiral George, Stephen Morrison and Clara Clark Morrison who met in 1941. When Morrison graduated from UCLA, he broke off most of his family contact. “Light My Fire” was recorded September 1966. Jim was born December 8, 1943, and died July 3, 1971. Morrison graduated from George Washington High School in Alexandria, Virginia, in June 1961, was born in 1943, in Melbourne, Florida. According to Morrison, one of the most important events of his life occurred when he was a child in 1949, during a family road trip in New Mexico, when he and his parents and grandmother came across the scene of an accident in the desert.
