Amphibian Life Cycle

Amphibians have a different life cycle than that of other vertebrates.

• 1. An egg is what is the first step. An egg takes three months to hatch.
• 2. After the egg hatches a Tadpole is born.
• 3. A tadpole have gills so they have to stay in water.
• 4. After two months tadpoles start to devolope legs and arms its tail gets shorter.
• 5. On the third month the tadpole will be either a frog, a salamander, or a newt.
