The NFL is the National Football League. It contains 32 teams. There is a Conference for each group of teams. There is the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). The AFC is then broken into the AFC South, AFC North, AFC West, and the AFC East. The NFC is broken into the NFC South, NFC North, NFC West, and the NFC East. The Indianapolis Colts won the National Championship for the NFL in 2007. In 2005 the Pittsburgh Steelers won the Super Bowl which is the National Championship.The 32 teams in the NFL are...the AFC East Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and the New York Jets. The AFC North Baltimore Ravens, Cinccinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The AFC South Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans. The AFC West Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, and the San Diego Chargers. The NFC East Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Redskins. The NFC North Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, GreenBay Packers, and the Minnesota Vikings. The NFC South Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFC West Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks.
