Nevada is our 36th state and was founded on October 31 of 1864. Nevada capital is Carson City. Nevada's state flower is the sagebrush and the state tree is the Bristle cone pine and single leaf pinion. The state bird is the mountain bluebird. Nevada's nickname's are "The Silver State", the "Sagebrush State", and the "Battle Borne State". Did you know... that Nevada gets the less amount of rain then any other state.
