Pronghorn's live in the
United States around the western part. They are found in fourteen states. Pronghorn's live in open prairies, plains and brush lands. The male mates during August through November with large amounts of females. They live in large groups of the same kind. The females give birth up to two fawns. Pronghorn's live up to fourteen years. A pronghorn is the size of a female
deer. They are
herbivores. (it only eats plants) Pronghorn's are a reddish color with tan on the belly, neck, and head. They have a short white tail like a deer. When they are alerted by each other they start to flee very quickly. Their horns have like a chair shape in them. Pronghorn's are sometimes mistaken for an
antelope.
