Pi is very is an important number. Pi goes on forever. You use pi to find the circumference and area of a circle. When you find the circumference and area of a circle you just use the first three numbers (3.14).

To find the circumference of a circle you use the formula:

  • Diameter x Pi or
  • Radius x 2 x Pi

To find the area of a circle you use formula:

  • Pi x Radius x Radius
