• Q: Who started the wiki?
• A: This is a great question. We started the Wiki 5A about two years ago. Just like our current fifth graders, the fifth graders then had so many great reports, we felt we should share them with the world rather than just people walking through our hallways. We started Wiki 5A in April 2006.

• Q: Can I write an article for the wiki?
• A: Absolutely! This is your encyclopedia - please feel free to write an article on any topic you choose if you are a user.

• Q: How do I become a user?
• A: First you have to be a 5th grader at Southwood Elm. or have been a 5th grader. If for some reason you are in 5th or past 5th grade ask Mr. Miller to give you an account.

• Q: How do I start?
• A: Type the title to your article idea in the search box on the left, then hit "Go". If the article doesn't exist, click the red link called "Create this page". From there, you can start your article.

• Q: Somebody has already done an article on my topic - what can I do?
• A: You can do lots of things to it! Our articles are never finished!
  • Check it for spelling and grammar errors.
  • Add a picture.
  • Add more information to it.

• Q: I know what I want to write about - where can I find information about my topic?
• A: This is a very good question. Check the Starting Out page for some ideas.
