Wikipedia:Tutorial

From Wiki 5A

So you found an article that has some problems? Good job! Now what do you do with it?

First of all, be bold. Don't be afraid to make changes. This is your wiki, so fix it so it works for you.

Secondly, remember this is a collection of a group's work, not individual work. Don't be afraid of changing someone else's work, and don't get upset if someone changes your work.

Okay, you've worked up the guts to make a change. Actually, it's very easy to fix those mistakes or make those changes. First, you need an account. If you're a Southwood Elementary fifth grader or exfifth grader, you should already have an account. If not, just see Mr. Miller.

Next, click on the edit tab found at the top of the article.

This will open the editing window for the article. From here, it is a lot like a word processor (like Microsoft Word). Just go in and make the changes you need to make. Once you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the Save page button. Be sure to click this button, otherwise your work won't be saved.
